The Cornhusker State

Ogallala to Omaha, Nebraska's Interstate 80 is a major travel corridor for residents, visitors and travelers in and through the Cornhusker State. Located on America's great plains, Nebraska is a leading farming, ranching and agriculture production area for the US. North Platte is home to Union Pacific's Bailey Yard, the largest train yard in the world. The NCAA Division 1-A Football team is arguably the most famous and popular for residents and alumni. The 2010 Husker Football schedule begins regular season play with two non-conference home games. Western Kentucky opens the season at Memorial Stadium on September 4th, and Idaho comes to town the week after. A match with Colorado wraps up the season at home November 26th.
